I always enjoy great deals when I find them and with gas prices, along with everything else, going up I REALLY enjoy finding a great deal. 

When looking for something new to wear at a great price I suggest trying re-sale shops.  Cupid’s Closet is a great shop to check out in Harlingen.  They have lots of cool clothes to choose from, even prom dresses!

Sporty and stylish!  The swept to the side pony tail is a wonderful touch to the outfit and helps pull it together.  Crop pants with the cuff are very sporty and festive.  Add the bright orange blouse and the super cute white tennies and you are good to go!

This picture is being featured as the “Look of the Day” on instyle.com and I can see why.  She looks so cute!  The dress is by Rory Beca and it is using the new colorblock style.  You wouldn’t normally see pink and red in the same outfit, but she pulls it off well.  It’s all in how you wear it.

You don’t need to wait for a rainy day to dawn your favorite umbrella anymore —- The sun umbrella is back!  Yeah!

Yes back.  Women used sun umbrella’s, or parasols, to protect their skin  from the sun back in the day.  It will be hard to find the actual parasols made with lace, although you can find some very cute ones in stores today.  You will need to check if they have any UV protection on the material when you purchase one.  If not, make sure it has dark coloring to help block the sun.

Check out this pretty n’ pink outfit!—-

I love the combination of the light pink pants with the darker pink blouse.  It helps to calm the loudness of the pink.  This is a great way to wear such a bright and fun color. 

You can use this technique with other bright colors as well.  Give it a try with other bright colors like yellow and orange.  You’ll find yourself feeling bright and beautiful.

We try so hard sometimes to put together the perfect outfit.  We find ourselves adding this piece of jewelry and then that piece too—-  Your ensemble doesn’t always need to have a lot going on to look great.  In fact,  sometimes the outfit looks better with less rather than more. 

This outfit looks great!  The demin skirt with the light blue blouse and brown casual sandals is a wonderfully effortless outfit.  If there was a big long necklaces and bracelets, it just wouldn’t give the same feel.  Don’t be afraid to keep it simply beautiful every once in a while.

As you know this year the spring trend is bright colors.  Well, along with all of the bright colors you are seeing this year is a new way of wearing them.  How could you wear them differently you ask?  This trend is called colorblocking.  The idea is to wear the bright colors without them wearing you. 

For example, you can wear a bright blue dress with an orange or pink hemline.  This will keep the look simple yet trendy.  You may want to look for close that have the look incorporated in them already, but if you feel up to it….go through your closet and see what colors you have.  Then you can go looking for chunks of color to compliment what you already have.  A helpful tip—- keep your shoes close to your skin tone.  This will help to keep the look simple and together.  The outfit needs to flow and the soft shoes will help that.

This is a trend that I am definitely going to try!  I love to incorporate lots of colors into my wardrobe and this is a fun way to wear them.
