A great pair of shades is an essential part of anyone’s wardrobe.  Especially in the Valley!  The sun blesses us with it’s rays for about 90 percent of the year.  

They can be a great tool when working a hand in poker.  Looking good and playing smart.

There are all kinds of shades out there and so many ways to use them.  I like to have a few different styles on hand.  It’s fun to be bold one day and classic chic the next.  What is your favorite style?  Do you stick to one style or have multiple pairs?

You can call them flip flops or chanclas and I will love them just the same.

You know what I’m talkin’ about. There’s the pair you wear to the grocery store and then there’s the nicer ones you wear to the movies…..

Well, maybe that’s just me.

Maybe even a pair that has some sparkle to them.

There are plenty of stlyes to choose from.

Which means we’ll be purchasing more than one pair…….

Well, the designers out there think we do. That’s what most of the shorts out there look like this year. I have seen a few bermuda styles out there, but the theme this year is short shorts.

So, do we wear short shorts? That’s what I’d like to know ——

I personally prefer the little longer. They are more versitile. For instance, if they are on the dressy side, you could use them for work or school.

When I find something I like, I wear it as much as possible. Because of this, versitility is a huge bonus for me.

One thing I enjoy about summer being back is the dresses!  I don’t know about you, but I much prefer summer attire.  Yes, I admit, it does get horridly hot here but I still enjoy it more than winter.  

 Well, at least at the beginning.  I will eventually get tired of the heat and anxiously await the cooler temperatures, but warmer weather has really just begun.  And you can always head down to the beach to cool off —-  

Wait —-Did somebody say beach?

Whether you are at the beach, the park or out shopping, a summer dress can be just what you’re looking for. 

I have seen quite a few that I would like to add to my wardrobe.  My list could get a little long, so I’ll only share a few with you. 

  There is this really cute plaid, patchwork baby doll dress from J.Crew.com.  It looks super comfy!  They also have a sweet looking white flowing dress with a surprisingly pleasant lobster print.  I want to find a reason to wear that dress!   

How about this floral print shark bite dress on wetseal.com?  WOW!  It is certainly a striking dress.  I think the name definitely fits.    This yellow smocked tube dress says to me “picture this, you’re on the
Island having a delicious lunch while looking out at the water and listening to the waves hit shore.”   Hmm —- I like this dress’s idea.   

Off to the beach it is!
